Rishi Shipping India Pvt. Ltd., Gandhidham, was awarded the Best Performer – Port Handling (2025–26) by Indian Potash Limited (IPL) at the Business Associate’s Meet 2026 held from 11th–16th February 2026 in Manila & Angeles City, Philippines.

The recognition follows a record performance year in which the Rishi Group handled 4 million metric tons of fertilisers, including over 2 million metric tons for IPL, reflecting our operational excellence and leadership in large-scale port handling operations, with continued support from Deendayal Port Authority.

Rishi Shipping India Pvt. Ltd. has successfully discharged pulses at the Outer Tuna Buoy (OTB) anchorage through barges — a first in Kandla Port’s history. We’ve set a new benchmark in cargo handling innovation.

We proudly handled India’s first Premium Products Vessel, MV Capetan Vassilis II, which arrived at Deendayal Port, Kandla on November 4, 2025, carrying Calcium Nitrate and NPK (Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium) fertilizers for Yara India.

Our team has successfully completed the loading of MV SOFIA II, a bagged sugar vessel at Anchorage. Notably, the vessel was never brought to the wharf and was completely serviced through our own barges, showcasing our ability to adapt and innovate. (In the month of Jan'2025)

A significant milestone was achieved in August 2025 with the successful loading of all 137 scheduled rakes 134 carrying fertilizers and the remaining 3 carrying coal. This accomplishment underscores our continued focus on efficient bulk cargo handling and our commitment to meeting customer requirements.

We are proud to announce that a new milestone has been set at Kandla Port with the unloading of 65,000 metric tons of pet coke in just 20 hours on 20/12/2024. This achievement highlights our commitment to efficiency and operational excellence.

We achieved a significant milestone by loading 125 rakes of fertilizer during October and December 2024. This accomplishment demonstrates our continued focus on handling bulk cargo efficiently and meeting customer needs.

For the first time, we have achieved the successful loading of a rice vessel at Anchorage, MV OBE Heart, which commenced on 28/12/2024 and was concluded on 02/01/2025 at the Outer Anchorage This accomplishment marks a significant milestone, underscoring our expanding expertise and proficiency in handling a wide range of cargo types under complex operational conditions.

We are excited to announce the commencement of operations at the IFFCO Jetty on 08/11/2024 for loading third-party cargo via barges. This expansion allows us to serve a broader range of customers and enhance our operational flexibility.

We have successfully completed the unloading of the MV AFRICAN JAY, a chickpeas vessel carrying 33,000 metric tons. The operation was completed in a remarkable 56 hours, Which Commenced on 06/01/25 and concluded on 09/01/25, achieving an impressive discharge rate of 589.2 MT/Hour—setting a new standard for efficiency at Kandla Port.

In a display of seamless coordination, we managed the operations of 10 vessels in a single day on 20th January 2025, including one vessel at the Outer Berth (OTB). This is a testament to the strength of our operational capabilities and teamwork.

We are thrilled to announce the successful BERTHING of  Capesize Vessel CSK GENERATION at Deendayal Port Authority- Kandla, carrying an impressive 1,30,068 metric tonnes of coal! This milestone stands as a testament to the unwavering dedication and seamless coordination of our teams, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.

Rishi Shipping India Pvt. Ltd. has once again emerged as the top performer this year(2024-25) in the handling of dry cargo. The company recorded the highest volumes in several key segments, including:

• Break Bulk: 22.37 lakh metric tons
• Fertilizer: 31.19 lakh metric tons
• Coal: 41.27 lakh metric tons
• Timber Logs: 15.31 lakh CBM

While maintaining its leadership in overall dry cargo handling, the company secured the second position specifically in the dry bulk cargo category.
